Kelly Rowland heats things up in her music video for “Ice” featuring Lil Wayne. The Matthew Rolston directed clip, which took place in an ice factory, shows Rowland looking very sexy as she dances seductively throughout the video. Surprisingly, Lil Wayne is not in the video. Instead, Rowland continues dancing while his verse is being played.
Days ago, Rowland released an extended trailer for the video where she explained the concept. “The whole feeling of ‘Ice’ and sensuality of ‘Ice’ is completely pronounced in this video,” Rowland said. “From it being so cold, that it’s hot – so hot that it’s cold.
“Ice” is the lead single from Rowland’s upcoming album, Year of the Woman. Watch the video below and let us know your thoughts in a comment.
It’s not secret that Kelly Rowland needs sells sex to stay relevant. The video and the song in general just reminds me of “Motivation.” Therefore, it leaves me wondering will Year of the Woman be a brand new era for Kelly or a continuation of Here I Am. Nonetheless, her “Ice” video was very sexy and daring!
