Last night the season finale of Tamar and Vince aired on WEtv. The finale showed Tamar Braxton prepping for her showcase where she would perform songs from her upcoming album, in front of her industry peers. They showed Braxton singing her comeback single “Love and War.” Of course, due to the show’s time slot, we were unable to see the entire performance. Luckily, Braxton released her full performance online.

Incredible. Tamar Braxton will be taking the world by storm in 2013. She released “Love and War” on iTunes on Wednesday night. It quickly shot to number one the iTunes music chart – that’s right, an R&B song is number one on iTunes!
“Love and War,” produced by DJ Camper, is the first single from Braxton’s sophomore album, due in 2013. The album is the follow-up to her self-titled debut album, which was released in 2000. The album was led by singles “Get None” and “If You Don’t Wanna Love Me.” Unfortunately, Tamar didn’t do well on neither the Billboard 200 chart nor the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
With a breakthrough single like “Love and War,” we are confident that Tamar has what it takes to put out a commercially successful album.
