Deon Young knows that DJ’s play an important role in an artist’s success. The Vested In Culture/Epic Records singer pays homage to DJ’s in his bass-driven track titled “Mad Respect,” which samples Michael Jackson’s hit song “Remember The Time.”
“Mad Respect” is expected to appear on Young’s forthcoming album, which does not have a title or release date as of yet.
Last summer, Young released his debut mixtape, Forever Young. The nine-track offering featured a guest appearance from Bad Boy Records artist French Montana (“Party Life”).
