Beyoncé loves her some Luke James. The R&B-pop star has enlisted him to serve as the opening act of the European leg of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.
The “I.O.U.” singer will start his new gig on April 24 in Paris through May 29 in Stockholm, Sweden.
“Luke James is a gifted singer and songwriter and what he does on stage with his pure falsetto is incredible,” said Beyoncé. “I am excited to have him join the tour and to introduce this soulful singer to an audience in Europe that will be discovering a true star.”
James is certainly appreciative of this big opportunity. “It is such an unimaginable honor to be sharing the light yet again with Beyoncé on her sold out Mrs. Carter Show World Tour,” said James. “This is a blessing that I do not take lightly. Thank you, Beyoncé.”
This won’t be James’ first time opening for Beyoncé. Last summer, he served as the opening act for Bey’s four shows at Revel Resort in Atlantic City.
Hopefully this will give James the international exposure he needs. He’s certainly a talented artist and has a great future ahead of him.
