After announcing her new album title, Ciara shares more exciting news. The 27-year-old singer is set to premiere her video for “Body Party” on VEVO and BET’s 106 & Park on Monday, April 22.
The video was directed by Director X (Aaliyah, Jay-Z, Usher) and shot in Ciara’s hometown of Atlanta.
“It’s been so many years since I’ve done a video in Atlanta,” Ciara says. “That alone was refreshing, but went beyond that. We captured the spirit of the song and the feeling of having a body party. It’s the perfect combination of fun and sensuality.”
“Body Party,” co-written by Ciara and Future, serves as the lead single of Ciara, which is scheduled to release on July 9 via Epic Records.
“ ‘Body Party’ is about being sensual in any way you want to be, whether you’re kicking it with your friends, dancing and having a good time or getting personal with your boo,” Ciara says.
