Celebrating the release of Jimi Hendrix’s latest posthumous album People, Hell & Angels, Janelle Monae appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night as the musical guest.
During her appearance, Monae, assisted by The Roots, performed a cover of Hendrix’s classic song “Little Wing.” The song was lifted off Hendrix’s 1967 album, Axis: Bold as Love.
