Kelly Rowland airs out her “Dirty Laundry” in her latest release.
On the raw record, penned by The-Dream, Rowland opens up about her dark past which involved an emotionally and physically abusive relationship for over five years. “Meanwhile this n*gga puttin’ his hands on me/Swear y’all dont know the half of this industry,” Rowland sings.
She also opens up her feelings about Destiny’s Child separating and seeing Beyonce succeed. ” While my sister was on stage/killin’ like a motherf–ker/I was enraged feelin’ it like a motherf–ker,” Rowland sings.
“Dirty Laundry” will appear on Rowland’s upcoming album Talk A Good Game, which hits stores June 18.
Wow. “Dirty Laundry” has to be the most personal song Kelly Rowland has released to date. It’s very honest and real. We commend Rowland for having the guts to open up about her dark past.
