Miguel’s performance at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards may have been the most talked about performance on social media. The R&B heartthrob performed his smash hit “Adorn” off his critically acclaimed album “Kaleidoscope Dream.”
During his performance, Miguel attempted to jump over the mosh pit but fell a little short. The singer ended up kicking two fans, landing on one’s head — yikes!
Remaining calm, Miguel continued to pull through his performance trying not to focus on that embarrassing stunt.
Immediately after his performance Miguel went backstage with the fan he landed on to ensure she was okay. The two ended up getting interviewed by Billboard’s editorial director.
“Well, I think it’s kind of clear what happened,” he told Billboard. “But I’m very happy to bring my new friend, Khyati, we just met . Unfortunately we did not meet under the best circumstances, but I think we’re okay.”
He also tweeted about his incident moments after his performance. “Got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay,” Miguel tweeted.
