Ciara is finally reaching the success she deserves as her new self-titled album reaches the top of the charts.
Ciara has reintroduced herself to the world and made us fall back in love with the “Goodies” girl that we knew back in 2003. Deciding to change the album name to “Ciara” instead of “One Woman Army,” brought the album back to her original roots as she reunited with Record Executive L.A Reid.
“As we were moving along, I started to take a different creative turn,” the 27-year-old singer reveals. “I found some new inspiration along the way.”
Whether it was her new fiery romance with Future or some connection from Mother Nature, the Atlanta native delivered. The feisty, spunky, up-beat Ciara that we originally embraced came back to life with a new modern twist. This move proved beneficial for the singer as she reached No. 2 on Billboard 200 this week behind Jay-Z’s “Holy Grail.” With 57,515 copies sold and still counting, Ciara surpasses her last album, “Basic Instinct,” by over 37,000. All of Ciara’s albums have reached top three on Billboard except her “Basic Instinct” LP.
The 27-year-old singer still climbs the ladder of success as she peaks at No. 1 on the U.S.R&B Chart. Creating her most experimental work to date gave Ciara a comeback that scored the charts.
