It has been three years since the raspy yet sultry voice of Jazmine Sullivan has been heard. After her sophomore effort “Love Me Back” didn’t perform as well as her Grammy-Award nominated debut album “Fearless,” she bowed out gracefully from the music world.
“I’m making an official announcement that I am taking a break from music,” tweeted Sullivan in January 2011.
The “Need You Bad” singer has had R&B fans like ourselves anxious for her return to music. Now signed to RCA Records (previously signed to J Records) she premiered a snippet of what’s to come from her long-awaited third studio album on Tuesday night.
