In an era where visuals are play an important role in music, John Legend goes against the grain. The R&B/soul crooner keeps the artwork simple for his upcoming album “Love In The Future,” due September 3.
Legend’s album cover will simply show an image of roses. For some reason, the “Green Light” singer didn’t include any text with his name or the album title. Could he be making a statement with this album cover? Who knows.
“Love In The Future” includes singles “Made To Love” and “Who Do We Think We Are” featuring Rick Ross. The album will include a standard version with 16 tracks and a deluxe version with 20 tracks.
“My album is definitely a soul album,” Legend said in an interview with Power 106. “Some fly soul music…a John Legend feel.”
