R&B singer Mateo will soon put out his next EP titled “We’ve Met Before.” The project, which includes lead single “How Good Is Your Love,” is the follow-up to his 2012 “Suite 823” mixtape.
“We’ve Met Before” is scheduled to arrive on August 13. The EP can be described as a “warm blend of R&B/alternative music, presented with a smooth subtle tone and enhanced by displays of vocal forte.”
Mateo wants to prove how he’s grown as an artist. “With this EP, I want to show fans how I’ve evolved,” said Mateo. “They may have met me before, but I have so much more to give them.”
The Cincinnati native is still working on his highly awaited debut album, which is due some time next year via Interscope Records.
