After releasing a teaser earlier this week, Justin Timberlake releases his new single “Take Back The Night.” The Timbaland produced track blends R&B, soul, funk, and disco for a refreshing sound. It actually sounds like a song from Michael Jackson’s “Off The Wall” era, which isn’t a surprise. In the past, Timberlake credited Jackson as being one of his musical influences.
“Take Back The Night” is the first offering from Timberlake’s “The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2,” due in stores September 30. As a treat to his fans, Timberlake is offering the song as a free download with a pre-order of his forthcoming album.
In related news, Timberlake will kick off his “Legends Of The Summer Stadium Tour” with Jay-Z on July 17. The tour will hit major cities including New York, Baltimore, Miami and Boston.
Timberlake will also headline his own tour, “The 20/20 Experience World Tour” in the fall. Timberlake will visit cities such as his hometown Memphis, Las Vegas, Atlanta, St. Louis, and more.
