R&B veteran Ron Isley teams up with Kem for his new single “My Favorite Thing.” The tune, which captures the essence of R&B between two unique voices, is the second single from Isley’s new album “This Song Is For You,” in stores today (July 16).
In a recent interview with Billboard, Isley spoke on how the track came to life. “Kem wrote and produced this song. We recorded it in Detroit, in the same studio I recorded a song with Aretha Franklin,” Isley told Billboard. “I had a great time working with Kem. I’ve been a big fan of his music and was really looking forward to recording this song. He’s so talented and a great artist. I know he’ll be around for a very long time.”

Along with Kem, the 13-track album will include an appearance by Trey Songz. The album features the lead single “Dinner and Movie,” which is currently a Top 20 hit on Urban AC radio.
