From TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine, & Tank) notching a Top 5 album on the Billboard 200 to K. Michelle comes close to pushing 100,000 units with her debut album, the genre of R&B is breaking grounds once again.

Last week, Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” album sat at No.4 on the Billboard 200. However, he falls to No.6 this week, selling 46,073, totaling 336,625 in the United States since its release.

Billboard Hot 100
Robin Thicke’s interesting MTV Video Music Award performance helps sustain his position at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Blurred Lines.” However, it will be interesting to see if he is overthrown next week by pop counterpart Katy Perry. We will keep our fingers crossed.
On the other hand, Thicke’s latest tune “Give It 2 U” featuring Kendrick Lamar debuted at No. 83 this week. He premiered the accompanying visuals earlier this week, featuring the remix verse from 2 Chainz.
It seems fans are giving zero f-cks about Justin Timberlake’s latest single “Take Back The Night.” Even after his ground breaking VMA performance, the single still continues to slip away on the Hot 100. Last week, the single was No.43 and now it fell another spot (No.44). Its peak position is No.33.
Chris Brown looks to have another hit on his hands. His third single “Love More” from his upcoming album “X” jumps 21 spots from No.73 to No.52 this week, which is a new peak position for the club banger.
