Today would have been Michael Jackson’s 55th birthday. This man was loved my millions and influence many of today’s entertainers. R&B crooner Donell Jones was heavily influenced by MJ.
“Michael Jackson has been an inspiration since I could remember,” Jones tells Rated RnB. “I really felt like it was weird that nobody has done a record for Michael Jackson. This guy has inspired me to write, to make music and I really feel like I owe it to him to pay homage to him.”
Jones penned a song called “I Miss The King” dedicated to Michael Jackson. The smooth track appears on Jones’ latest album “Forever,” which is in stores now.
