Robin Thicke’s new album “Blurred Lines” is projected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. According to Hits Daily Double, Thicke is on track to sell between 130,000 to 140,000 copies during week one.
This is certainly a big comeback for Thicke. His previous album “Love After War,” released in 2011, debuted at No. 22 on the Billboard 200, selling 41,000 copies in its first week.
“Blurred Lines” comes in the sales range of Thicke’s 2008 album “Something Else,” which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, selling 137,000 copies during week one.
Thicke has much to thank for the success of his new album. The title track made radio history as it reached the largest radio audience of all-time last week (242.65 million listeners).
