Kelly Price and several ladies from the R&B Divas franchise are ‘booked.’ The “Friend of Mine” singer has announced plans for an R&B Divas Tour, which would include Price, Faith Evans, Chante Moore, Dawn Robinson, Brownstone and Keke Wyatt.
In an interview with Cnikky, Price was asked about any plans for a tour. “There is,” Price confirmed. “Faith Evans, myself, Brownstone, Dawn Robinson, Keke Wyatt and Chante Moore.”
Price also brushed away any thoughts naysayers would have about her and Chante Moore being on the road together — they had some beef on the show. And I know that it raises questions but, you know, again I will make this statement,” said Price.
“People are trying to make a television show. If there was a danger of anything happening to Chante Moore being in the same intimate space with me, we would not be going on the road together. And Miss Moore did agree to come on this tour.”
People may be wondering why the other divas — Monifah, Lil Mo, Claudette Ortiz, Michel’le, Syleena Johnson, LaTocha Scott and Angie Stone — were not included in the lineup.
“That is the promoters call,” Price explained. “There are people who back the show and they put the money up and it is 100% their call.”
