Def Jam’s newest talent, August Alsina, just released a club-friendly R&B record, “Numb,” featuring rappers Iamsu and Problem.
Over DJ Mustard’s beats, the West Coast rappers deliver bars that give the song the West Coast feel while Alsina sings about indulging in drinks until going “numb.”
In the song, the New Orleans singer asks a friend to take his drinks, his “tree,” and his keys from him because he is beyond inebriated, giving the party song a feel of responsibly.
