Tiara Thomas, known for her seductive vocals on Wale’s bad girl anthem “Bad,” sat down with VIBE Vixen to discuss working with Rico Love and her upcoming debut album “Dear Sallie Mae.”
Tiara Thomas recently signed with Rico Love’s Division 1 Records and has been working closely with him for “Dear Salle Mae,” and she describes Rico as “super talented and awesome and funny.”
She went to say that she enjoyed working with him, because “he just let’s me do my own thing.”
The artist also revealed the idea behind the name of her album.
“A lot of the songs on the EP were songs I wrote in college, so I decided to dedicated the name of my EP to everyone’s favorite person, Sallie Mae,” she said.
Look out for the release of “Dear Sallie Mae” soon, and pay attention for Tiara’s favorite song on the album, “Tell Me Something, which she says is “one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written.”
