Robin Thicke can add ‘director’ to his resume. The “Blurred Lines” singer reportedly directed and wrote a short film titled “Mercy,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Thicke, who stars in the film, is joined by his wife Paula Patton (“Precious”), Robert Patrick (“Terminator 2”) and Amandla Stenberg (“The Hunger Games”).
“Mercy,” based on true events, follows a family-focused limo driver (played by Thicke) and his wife (played by Patton) who battles drug and alcohol addiction.
The film, executive produced by Thicke and Jordan Feldstein, was shot early this year in Los Angeles.
There is no word on when the film will be released.
