After parting ways last spring with her former manager Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey hires her longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri to serve as her new manager.
Dupri confirmed the news on October 4 when he retweeted So So Def’s congratulatory tweet about his new gig.
The two veterans first collaborated in on Carey’s 1996 single “Always Be My Baby” from her “Daydream” album.
Since then, Carey and Dupri remained consistent with making timeless music including “Don’t Forget About Us,” “We Belong Together,” and “Shake It Off,” to name a few.
Carey and Dupri have also collaborated on Carey’s upcoming album “The Art of Letting Go.”
Congratulations are in order for Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri.
