As her nostalgic “I Blame You” single continues to rise to the top 20 on the Urban AC charts, Ledisi has announced her upcoming album, “The Truth.”
The album will serve as her fifth studio album and is filled with the singer’s classic song, along with beat-driven songs of love and lust.
“With every album I grow, and with “The Truth,” I’ve gone to a new level,” Ledisi says.
She describes the album as an “extension of who I am and where I am in my life. Everything I am feeling and experiencing is in this album and I am excited to share it with my fans.”
The album, which she says is her favorite album yet, will be available in stores February 11. Fans can pre-order the album on Amazon.com.
While we wait for the release of Ledisi’s album, check her out on this year’s Black Girls Rock award show as she performs “I Blame You” for the first time, among other female artists like Janelle Monae, Patti LaBelle, Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Hudson and Alice Smith. The show will air on BET on November 3 at 7 p.m.
