R&B singers have been releasing albums and announcing holiday tours and concerts to bring holiday cheer to R&B fans and Christmas lovers all over.
For an NBC tradition, three R&B divas known for their holiday spirit and take on Christmas classic songs will come together with artists of differing genres to bring Christmas spirit. Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton and Mariah Carey will join various other performances in bringing in the holiday cheer with NBC on stage for this year’s “Christmas In Rockefeller Center.”
“Today” anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales will host the 81st annual star-studded holiday celebration as NBC lights the famous 76-foot Norway Spruce Christmas tree, estimated to be about 75 years old, in New York City. Notable singers Kelly Clarkson, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Goo Goo Dolls, Ariana Grande and Jewel will also perform during the anticipated holiday event.
The Christmas In Rockefeller Center” tradition will broadcast live on the NBC network from the Rockefeller Center on Wednesday, December 4 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time.
