Last night (Nov. 3), BET aired the 2013 Black Girls Rock! ceremony, hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King. The purpose of the event is to highlight the accomplishments of exceptional women of color who have made outstanding contributions in their careers, and who stand as inspirational and positive role models in their communities.
This year’s performers included Patti LaBelle, Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monae, Sevyn Streeter, Jennifer Hudson, Ledisi, Ameber Riley, Alice Smith and more.
