After visiting his hometown with a Chicago remix of his “My Story” record, featuring rappers Katie Got Bandz and Rockie Fresh, R. Kelly now takes it to the West Coast with the L.A. remix of the song.
The R&B veteran calls on L.A. rapper Nipsey Hussle and Bay Area veteran Too $hort to deliver on the West Coast vibing-remix. In their verses, Nipsey speaks of being an independent artist and overcoming obstacles and struggles while Too $hort lays his signature bars on the record.
The original version of “My Story,” which features Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz, will appear on R. Kelly’s upcoming “Black Panties” album, which releases on December 10.
“Black Panties” includes features from Kelly Rowland, Migos, Ludacris, Young Jeezy and more. Pre-ordering is now available for the album on iTunes and Amazon.
