Robin Thicke has had a great year. His single “Blurred Lines” featuring Pharrell and T.I. turned out to be one of the top-selling and most-played singles of 2013.
Music tagging service Shazam has released its 2013 year in review, which revealed the top “Shazamed” songs and artists.
Unsurprisingly, “Blurred Lines” turned out to be the number one “Shazamed” song worldwide and in the United States. The song was “tagged” (identified sonically) 17.8 million times worldwide, and 5.6 million times in the United States.
“Blurred Lines” is the title track to Thicke’s sixth studio album, available now.
