UK singer Daley performed Chaka Khan’s classic “Sweet Thing” during a live performance at the Howard Theatre in DC, bringing his own unique flavor to the soulful song.
The Howard Theatre audience was receptive to the 24-year-old singer’s cover as soon as he sang, “I will love you anyway, even if you cannot stay.” The Queen of Funk would definitely be proud of Daley’s performance.
Daley is on the road for his the last leg of his “Look Up Tour,” which includes 15 cities in the United States and Canada.
