Nine-time Grammy award winner John Legend will perform at the 2014 Governors Ball. The official post-Academy Awards celebration will occur at The Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California. Attendees of the party will include Oscar winners, nominees, performers, award presenters, and other esteemed guests.
“John Legend is one of the industry’s most innovative and talented artists,” said Jeffrey Kurland, Costume Design Branch governor and chair of the Governors Ball.
“We’re thrilled he will be joining us to celebrate this year’s achievements in film, and for what promises to be a most memorable evening.”
Last year, the “Ordinary People” singer released his fourth studio album, “Love in the Future.” The album is nominated for a 2014 Grammy for Best R&B Album. Legend previously won the award with his debut album, 2006’s “Get Lifted,” and his collaboration album with The Roots, 2011’s “Wake Up!.”
