After premiering part one (“Restriction“) of her “My Truth” web series, K. Michelle follows up with part two titled “Artistry.”
Before getting noticed by the masses of music lovers, most were first introduced to K. Michelle as a star on VH1’s popular show “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta.”
Now with her career blossoming right before everyone’s eyes, she still struggles with people not taking her seriously as an artist versus a reality star.
The Memphis-native finds it comical, though. “I think it’s really funny when they finally listen to the album and see me perform live, they’re really in shock,” she said.
Despite gaining new fans from reality TV, K. Michelle wants everyone to know, “I’m not a reality star, I’m a star that’s on a reality TV show.”
