With the season premiere of VH1’s “Single Ladies” airing tonight at 9 p.m. EST, the lovely cast made their way to the “Queen Latifah Show” to discuss the new season.
The latest addition to the drama series and Centric TV’s “Culture List” host, LeToya Luckett, talked about her role as Felicia Price, an intimidating executive.
The “Not Anymore” artist says she loves one particular trait about her character: “Her confidence,” said Luckett. “A lot of times women of power get misunderstood. I went through that – even as an artist and as a female dealing with things. [Felicia] helped me with that, especially playing her every single day.”
During a fan question-and-answer session backstage, Luckett revealed the title of her long-awaited third studio album. “It’s called ‘Until Then,’ ” she said. “I’m currently working on it as we speak.” She stated the album is expected to drop at the top of the year.
Following the new details on her forthcoming album, she tells fans she been casted for yet another television show. While she remained quiet on the details, it’s obvious Ms. Luckett remains BOOKED which is one of the five reasons we love her.
It has been four years since Luckett released her sophomore album”Lady Love,” which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and No.1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album featured singles such as “Not Anymore,” “She Ain’t Got” and her top 10 R&B hit “Regret” featuring Ludacris.
