Rated Next singer John Michael drops his latest mixtape called “New Jack Thing Pt. 1.”
This project alludes to the “New Jack Swing” R&B movement of the 80’s and 90’s. As an artist who writes, records and mixes his own songs, Michael always wants to give good music to people.
“This mixtape is my homage to all of the great R&B influences from the 80’s and 90’s,” said Michael. “I want to show the world exactly who I am and what I am capable of producing which is true R&B music that is both relevant and authentic.”
At the end of the day, Michael just wants to create great, timeless music. “The goal of this upcoming mixtape is to create a playlist of songs that one can listen to from start to finish.” said Michael. “Good music and entertaining transitions that keep the listeners attention while also alluding to the next song to be played.”
