CBE signee Sevyn Streeter is becoming quite the cover artist. From Aaliyah’s “Come Over” and Usher’s “Climax” to “You Mean The World To Me” by Toni Braxton, Streeter amazed us with her incredible renditions last year.
It’s a new year and the singer-songwriter shares her first cover of 2014 on YouTube – TLC’s 1995 single “Diggin’ On You.”
As comfortable and confident as usual, Streeter gets in mode of “CrazySexyCool” as she harmonizes the instrumental of the Babyface produced track. Closing her eyes and getting into the zone of her mesmerizing runs, she tackles the tune with ease and control.
Watch Sevyn takes us back to the days of TLC in her latest cover below.

In other news, her debut EP “Call Me Crazy, But….” stands at No. 14 on Billboard’s R&B Album chart, after debuting at No.3.
Last December, Streeter told RatedRnB what it was like creating her debut EP. ” I didn’t realize it at first but I was going through a couple of things every day. I just wrote something different. To be quite honest, I didn’t really understand and know what that was. After we stepped back and rearranged a couple of songs, it told a story. It literally is a cycle of relationship — from the moment you meet, to the moment it ends. That was a process but it was a non process, if that makes any sense at all.”
