Pharrell has linked up with REVOLT to present “The Year of Pharrell,” an hour-long documentary that features the private superstar sitting down for one of his most in-depth conversations to-date.

The producer/singer talks about his success in 2013 (i.e. producing successful hits like Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and collaborating with Daft Punk on “Get Lucky”) , his reputation as one of the hottest producers in music and his Oscar-nominated single “Happy” lifted from the “Despicable Me 2” movie soundtrack.

The documentary will also feature interviews and commentary by some of Pharrell’s music industry peers such as Rick Ross and Pusha T.

“We are honored that Pharrell allowed REVOLT to join him as he reflects on the biggest year in his career,” said Val Boreland, executive vice president of programming and strategy. “With his Oscar and Grammy nominations, he has proven himself to be the one of the leading trendsetters in the music industry. Fans will love having such a rare, intimate, behind-the-scenes glimpse of Pharrell’s genius at work.”

“Pharrell had an amazing year, arguably his most successful one since the start of his larger-than-life career,” said Rahman Dukes, vice president of programming and news. “From his work with Jay-Z to Daft Punk to Robin Thicke in 2013, this REVOLT special is a celebration highlighting a true visionary who’s consistently been at the forefront of shaping the culture.

“The Year Of Pharrell” will air on Sunday, January 26  at 7 p.m. EST. Check your local listings on www.revolt.tv.
