Kelis is taking full advantage of her “FOOD” album title. She cooks up more publicity with her newest gig as host of The Cooking Channel’s show “Saucy and Sweet.”
The show will feature Kelis serving “food with an attitude.” In an official promo clip, the urban alternative artist explains her show’s premise, “My passion is food. My life is an adventure to be savored.” Check out the promotional teaser for the show here.
On April 22, Kelis will release her sixth studio album. The “Milkshake” singer proves to be the foodie, as she named most of the album’s songs after sweet and savory cuisine.
“This is the album I’ve wanted to make for a long time and I want the team around me to be as excited and energetic about it as I am. I’m also very happy to be working with some of the most creative people in the industry,” she says via press release.
Earlier this month, the “Caught Out There” artist released a new song titled “Rumble.” She mostly recently premiered the colorful visuals for her single, “Jerk Ribs.”
Don’t miss the premiere of “Saucy and Sweet” on February 26. The show will air at 8:30 p.m. ET on Wednesdays.
