CENTRIC has announced its new original biography docu-series, “BEING.” The eight-episode weekly series chronicles the life and times of Chaka Khan, Dionne Warwick, Ruben Studdard and other prominent African-American figures.
Viewers will get an inside look of the challenges, drama and politics that brought them to the top and reveal the compelling and unknown stories that could very well be inspirational. The series, narrated by Big Daddy Kane, will also include exclusive interviews, as well as the artist telling viewers what it’s like “being” them at different points in their career.
“BEING” will also feature commentary from family, friends and associates, behind-the-scenes footage and archival photos and footage.
“BEING” premieres Saturday, February 15 at 9 p.m. EST.
