Sevyn Streeter had a descent year in 2013. Her debut single “It Won’t Stop” featuring Chris Brown made a major impact on urban radio. Now, the former RichGirl singer is ready to take things to the next level. Streeter has announced “nEXt” as the second single from her debut EP, “Call Me Crazy, But…”
In the song, penned by Streeter, she reminisces about the good and bad times she had with her ex, prompting her to want him back.
In an interview with Rated RnB, Streeter revealed her experience creating “Call Me Crazy, But…” “I didn’t realize it at first but I was going through a couple of things every day,” she said. “I just wrote something different. To be quite honest, I didn’t really understand and know what that was. After we stepped back and rearranged a couple of songs, it told a story. It literally is a cycle of relationship — from the moment you meet, to the moment it ends. That was a process but it was a non process, if that makes any sense at all.”
