Pharrell Williams put the “Happy” in Happy Hump Day by announcing his new album’s release date and performing at the 2014 Brit Awards.
The singer/songwriter/super-producer took the stage to perform his Oscar-nominated, chart-topping single “Happy.” Wearing an eclectic ensemble and his new signature top hat, Pharrell performed a funkier version of the track alongside legendary musician Nile Rogers and Manchester’s Northern Soul Dancers.
The Grammy-award winner also announced today that his sophomore LP “G I R L” will be released on March 3 via Columbia Records.
This past Sunday, Pharrell performed a 20-minute set at the NBA All-Star Game. The set included many of his star-studded classic songs including, “Hot In Herre” with Nelly and “Pass The Courvoisier, Part II” with Diddy and Busta Rhymes.
