Pint-sized powerhouse vocalist JoJo performed a short set at SXSW this past week.
JoJo hit the stage in the early afternoon on Tuesday, during the Fader Fort showcase. Sporting a black leather and plaid ensemble, the “Baby It’s You” singer treated the Austin audience to a performance of the hit singles from her teenage years, “Leave (Get Out)” and “Too Little Too Late”. She also sang her amazing renditions of Phil Collins’ “Take Me Home” and Anita Baker’s “Caught Up In the Rapture,” which are featured on her latest EP.
The 23-year old showed her fans some love this past Valentine’s day by releasing an impressive EP of covers titled “#LoveJo.” JoJo also recently inked a new record deal with Atlantic Records and is working on her third album.
Hopefully her EP release and SXSW performance are a sign of things to come, with JoJo fully re-emerging back onto the music scene.
