After chucking up the deuces and shelving her fifth studio album “Woman to Woman,” Keyshia Cole is in the studio already working on its follow-up.
Earlier today, Cole took advantage of her Instagram account to preview lyrics to the intro of her forthcoming project. She writes, “Not tryN to overdose on your love/don’t wanna be heartBroken No more/Your the love that reflects in my eyes/but u take it away from me!/And constantly!” She continues more of the painful lyrics, “We f-ck/we fight/we make up!/That seems to be us right now!/That’s love right now/We f-ck/we fight/we make up!/that seems to be us right now!/It’s live right now.”
If that wasn’t enough for fans to get excited about her new album, she shared a few snippets of her on studio flow. In one post, she captioned, “#RememberPart2,” which could possibly be a sequel to her 2007 hit “I Remember” off her sophomore album “Just Like You.”
In another post, she shared a song tentatively called “N*ggas Like You.” She sings, “It’s n-ggas like you, that make it hard to love/make it hard to trust, so hard/n-gga like you, that make me wanna curse/burn up all your stuff/and catch a charge.”
