On Thursday night (March 13), soul artist Mali Music made his musical introduction to the world on FOX’s “American Idol.” As contestants waited anxiously for results of the top ten finalists, the Georgia native performed his latest single “Beautiful” off his upcoming album.
Sporting a causal ensemble, Mali made his way across every inch of the stage while he sung the words to his uplifting record. To be his first television performance, he didn’t break one sweat of nervousness as he kept the crowd and judges attention throughout his entire set.
Last week, Mali Music premiered the accompanying visuals to his “Beautiful” single. “I wanted this video to truly depict a story that others can relate to,” says Mali Music. “As humans, we are judgmental beings; this video shows why one should not judge another’s actions based solely on pre-conceived notions. It is definitely an awe-inspiring tale!”
The single stands at No. 12 on Billboard’s Gospel Songs and at No. 17 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Songs chart.
