Rising singer Tinashe has finally premiered her music video for her SchoolBoy Q-assisted single “2 On.”
In the video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, Tinashe showcases her dance moves with the help of her girlfriends. The new party anthem will appear on Tinashe’s forthcoming debut album, which will be released via RCA Records later this year.
“‘2 On’ is meant to be fun. It’s about celebrating being young, going out, being with your friends, and living it up. That was my inspiration,” says Tinashe. “It’s got a West Coast vibe with ScHoolboy Q and DJ Mustard, but it has my spin too. I wanted the visuals for the song to capture that mood.”
On Sunday (March 23), Tinashe’s care-free single entered the top 50 of the Urban radio chart at No. 47. Since then, the DJ Mustard-produced track has reached No. 43, totaling 385 radio spins, according to All Access.com.
