Last week, Keyshia Cole grabbed the attention of everyone with her bold “Rick James” music video featuring Juicy J. Now, she switches up gears and puts focus on her “Next Time (Won’t Give My Heart Away)” clip, slated to release tomorrow on BET’s 106 & Park.
The Colin Tilley directed clip shows Cole embodying her natural beauty while she fights through singing the emotional lyrics, “The fightin’ and the arguin’ and cussin’ all loud/sometimes I think you do it just so you can walk out.”
According to All Access.com (April 15), the new single by the “Just Like You” artist entered the top 50 of Urban radio three days ago and has reached No. 47 since then.
“Next Time (Won’t Give My Heart Away)” serves as the dual single to “Rick James” off her sixth studio album “Point of No Return” set to release this summer. The new project will feature collaborations from Wale, Future and R. Kelly.
