Remember R&B duo Koffee Brown? This week we feature their one and only hit “After Party” as our Throwback Thursday song.
“After Party” was the lead single off Koffee Brown’s debut album, “Mars/Venus,” which was released in 2001. The feel-good tune had moderate success on the Billboard Hot 100. The Allstar produced cut spent 20 weeks on the chart, peaking at No. 44.
Unfortunately, Koffee Brown didn’t stick around too long after their album dropped. “Mars/Venus” is the group’s first and only album. Additionally, neither Vee nor Fonz released any solo music thereafter. Oh well.
