After punishing our ears with his “R.E.D.” album, Ne-Yo is ready to begin his new era. The singer-songwriter has announced his new single “What Money Can’t Buy,” featuring Jeezy, will release on May 27.
The song is expected to serve as the lead single off Ne-Yo’s sixth studio album. Last May, the “Sexy Love” singer revealed his new album will focus more on R&B music rather than electronic dance music (EDM). “My next album will be predominately R&B with a couple of EDM splashes here and there,” he told 93.9 WKYS.
On Valentine’s Day, Ne-Yo released a three-song EP for his fans called “3 Simple Rules.” The short and sweet project served as an appetizer until he completes his next album.
