Last year, Tallahassee’s own T-Pain re-emerged back on the music field and earned himself a top-ten R&B hit with “Up Down (Do This All Day)” featuring B.o.B. As he puts the finishing touches on his fifth album “Stoicville: The Phoenix,” the autotune specialist has found a “Drankin Patna” on his new song.
On the snappy track, the “Buy U a Drank” crooner didn’t have to purchase any adult beverages for his new love interest. In fact, she’s already drinking shots and seems to be giving him run for his money. “I can’t let you drink me under this table/she keep taking shots to the head and I know that I can’t keep up/one more drink and I’ma be dead/you going see me walk up out of this club,” coos “Bartender” singer.
He shared exclusive details on the new song with Rap-Up. “‘Drankin Patna’ is basically when you meet that person that likes drinking as much as you do and knows about alcohol as much as you do,” he said. “A person that you can sit back with and just take shots with and still be fine with.”
His new album “Stoicville: The Phoenix” is slated to release sometime this year.
