Congratulations are in order for emerging R&B talent Tinashe. Her breakout single, “2 On” featuring ScHoolBoy Q made its entrance into the top ten of Urban radio today (May 27).
With a total of 353 radio spins, the DJ Mustard track debuted at No. 47 on March 23. Since then, the blazing single has received incredible airplay, which has helped the song land at No. 10. The carefree joint rests at 1,973 radio spins. Hopefully, the single will gain more radio spins and rise higher on the urban radio chart in the coming weeks.
According to last week’s Chart Check, “2 On” stands at No. 74 on the Hot 100 after debuting at No. 89 two weeks ago.
The Los Angeles native is working on her debut album, which will feature one of her favorite rappers, A$AP Rocky. In an interview with VIBE, she stated that their forthcoming collaboration, “Pretend,” is “about when you’re in a relationship and instead of dealing with the stuff that you deal with in a relationship…you’re just going to pretend that everything is fine.”
