R&B crooner John Legend sang his heart out at the 2014 BET Awards on Sunday night.

Equipped with a piano, the newly married singer performed his new heartfelt single “You & I” at the star-studded event. The song is lifted off his gold-selling album “Love in the Future.”

After Legend was finished with slaying us with his vocals, Jhene Aiko appeared on stage to perform her new single “The Worst.” Aiko’s performance proved that she still has a lot of work to do as her vocals were unimpressive. Luckily, Legend was able to help out the LA native as he belted some of the words to the song.
