While Monifah from TV One’s “R&B Divas: Atlanta” is still enjoying life as a newlywed, she can still sing about heartbreak and moving forward without or without her lover.
Her empowering new anthem “The Other Side” hears the R&B songstress commanding love and respect from her mate. However, her lover can’t seem to hang in there during the bad times and bails at any given moment to find love else where. Yet, once they’ve played their games and want to return, she sings, “Don’t you try to fix it when you start to miss it, no/You don’t deserve my love, taking back my love.”
