Sam Smith pays homage to Whitney Houston with his latest cover. While visiting Sirius XM’s Hits 1 studio, the British singer took a stab at Houston’s 1985 classic “How Will I Know.”
It’s not easy to cover a Whitney Houston song — and actually sound good. However, Smith proved why many people love him. He was able to make the song his own without over doing it.

Smith’s debut album “In the Lonely Hour” was released on June 17 in the United States. The Target deluxe version features the crooner’s duet with Mary J. Blige called “Stay with Me.”
